Before installing the new turbocharger, you must search for, analyze, and eliminate the causes of failure of the old turbocharger, e. insufficient oil supply, foreign bodies, malfunctioning engine crankcase ventilation, etc.

Changing the oil filter and engine oil, replacing the air filter element, and cleaning or replacing the intake and exhaust ducts are necessary to ensure proper turbocharger operation.

In our accessories, you will find a MoS2 additive for the first fill, which ensures lubrication of the turbocharger during initial operation and thus extends its service life.

Attention: important information for turbocharger installation.
To avoid installation errors, LaPièce24 recommends having the new turbocharger installed by an authorized specialist workshop.
It is necessary to check whether the causes of the failure and damage to the old turbocharger have been eliminated.

Before starting to install the new turbocharger, check the cleanliness and sealing of the adjacent parts.
When replacing the turbocharger, also renew the engine oil, oil filter, and air filter!
Before attaching the line, please completely fill the turbocharger by pouring clean engine oil into the supply line.

Replace all oil lines as well as flanges and seals.
For some items, the heat exchanger must also be replaced according to the installation instructions.
Before commissioning, check the tightness of all oil, gas, and air lines.

It is absolutely necessary to clean the air intake and exhaust system as well as the intercooler.
The system must contain no chips, dirt, corrosion, oil, or foreign bodies.
After installing the turbocharger, restart the engine, let it idle for about 30 seconds, and only then gradually increase the speed.

Please note that LaPièce24’s warranty and liability are void if the turbocharger is installed without following the installation instructions and this causes damage.
